This is my fourteenth year teaching at Holy Spirit School. The school and parish have been my home away from home since moving here from Ireland many years ago and becoming part of this wonderful community. My four children attended Holy Spirit School. I have taught as both a homeroom teacher and a special education teacher and am currently the educational achievement specialist (EAS) at Holy Spirit School. This role provides me with the opportunity to work with students of all abilities and at all grade levels. Interacting with the students is ultimately the best part of my job. I also enjoy getting to know the parents of our children, collaborating with my colleagues, facilitating SST meetings and working together to ensure student success in this loving and Christ centered environment.
I am honored to serve as the inclusion lead for the Solano cluster on behalf of the diocese of Sacramento. I head the EAS leadership team which provides professional development opportunities for teachers and principals. I am passionate about inclusion in our Catholic schools from preschool to college.
